Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Doug has been working at the current site since his teens. His 1st job was to cut the lawn at 309-311 Penn Ave. Eventually he became one of the owners, after years of schooling to become an orthodontist. Dr. Doug currently lives in Wyomissing with his wife, Ann and their children Allison and Patrick. When not at work you can see him at his children's sporting events, walking the family dog, Sophie or riding his bike.
After dental school, Dr. Jim practiced in the Reading area for 2 years before deciding to go back to orthodontic school at the Universtiy of Pennsylvania. He began working along side his dad, Dr. Harry Barrer in 1984.
In his free time , Dr. Jim enjoys playing golf and tennis. He allso spends his weekends with his wife, Jackye, visiting their 3 grown sons in New York and Philly. Most of all he loves spoiling his 2 grandpuppies, Sadie and Lexie!

In 2001, Mary became a member of the Barrer & White Team with her "Barrer & White" made smile!
Mary lives in Wyomissing with her husband and 2 children. She loves to walk her dog Lucy and enjoys yoga. Be sure to wave to her when you see her out walking!
Robin started working for Barrer and White in October 1989. She began as a receptionist and 5 years later trained and became an assistant.
She lives in Sinking Spring with her husband, Dave and their two sons, Connor and Ethan. Connor attends Wilson High School and Ethan is attending Wilson West Middle School.
Make sure to look for her at many school functions and be sure to say "Hi" !
Pam has been our Financial Coordinator for the past 11 years. Her beautiful B & W smile
makes arranging your payment options a little easier !
She and her husband, who owns a plumbing business, are the proud parents of three grown children, 2 dogs and 1 grand puppy.
Pam enjoys Penn State football, the Phillies and ...wait for it ... the Dallas Cowboys!
